Hi! I am Hemlata, a Madhubani painting artist. I was born in Darbhanga, Bihar. I completed my bachelor’s degree in arts.

Madhubani Painting Skills

Since childhood, I have been very interested in drawing and painting. After growing up, I decided to learn Madhubani painting from Madhubani painting National Award winner Manoj Sir. I took a three-month online course to learn Madhubani painting from him.

Madhubani paintings are quite expensive, so I decided to make small Madhubani hand-painted products like pouches, lunch box bags, clutches, and masks. These products are in great demand by customers.

Motive

My motive behind making these products is to promote Madhubani paintings and to make Madhubani products reach the pocket of every person.

Madhubani Painting Process

I make paintings on paper, canvas, bottles, hangings, and other home decor products. I use acrylic colors in my painting.
