Hi! I am a macrame artist/manufacturer Sahithi Vangala. I was born in Chhattisgarh. I have a master’s degree in computers from Swami Vivekananda University, Chhattisgarh. I make macrame plant hangers and coasters.

Macrame Plant Hangers and Coasters Making Skills

I am a plant lover, and I like to decorate my house with indoor and outdoor plants. I like hanging the plants more and to showcase my plants I needed something like plant hangers which can help me display my plants as well as add to the beauty of interiors. To overcome my need, I learned to make plant hangers from online tutorials. Initially, I faced many problems, but after practicing I became an expert in macrame craft.

Macrame Plant Hangers and Coasters Making Process

I use pure cotton cords and beads to make all my products. I make plant hangers, coasters, mandala wall hangings, etc. The entire process is completed by hand and no other tools or machines are used in the process of making the plant hangers. These plant hangers are made by knotting the macrame cords beautifully with hands. Various knots are used to make the product more beautiful.

Benefits of Using Macrame Products

Macrame products are completely handmade and are environmentally friendly. They can also be washed. Therefore, the use of macrame products is a good alternative to plastic products. Macrame products can be used for decoration as well as utility purposes.
